The Standard Small Woo raises the grid the felt line.   Want to go lower or higher with the grid, we can customize your small Woo at no additional charge.  The Small Woo provides a raised, grid, direct set-up or add a heat deflector, 8-10 inch ceramic stone, for an raised, grid, indirect set-up.  The Small Woo is made with 304 grade Stainless Steel.

An alternative set-up option for the “Small” are GrateMates.   GrateMates are offered by Evans Tabor.  Evans is better known as “Chubby” on the various forums and has years of experience cooking on the “Small”.    More information and Chubby’s contact information can be found on the GrateMates review page:   http://www.nakedwhiz.com/productreviews/gratemates/gratemates.htm

Mini Kim Woo Ring:

Kim Y.  (Vidalia1 - forum name) asked if we could fabricate a woo ring that would allow him to go indirect on the Mini.   His indirect piece(s) is an 8 inch ceramic stone he found on Amazon.com.   We played with the idea and ended up with the following design.   Kim likes it, so we named it after him -- the Mini Kim Woo

The design raises the Mini grid 1.5 inches above the fire ring.  The ceramic stone sits approximately 1/4-inch above the fire ring and 1/4-below the grid.   The grid can also be set-up for raised and direct grilling, as pictured.  The material is 304 grade Stainless Steel.  The two legs are fabricted with 1/4-inch round bar and spaced approximately 5-1/2 inches apart.  The ceramic stone sits on the two legs.  The grid holder is fabricated using two 1/8 x 1/2 inch flat bar pieces: one rolled the easy way and one the hard way to create an "L" shelf.  Inside diamater of the shelf is 9-inches.   The Mini Kim Woo is designed for a 9-1/2 inch Mini grid.

The Amazon stones have been shipping two stones per order.  Approximate cost is around $30.  It's one way to make the Mini a little pizza maker.
